Anita is a half Hispanic and half German woman who is about 29 years old and has black hair, dark brown eyes and is very light complected. She is 5'3" but looks very muscular. She has scars on her neck and down her arms that most of the time she attempts to hide. One of those scars (along her collarbone)is in the shape of an uneven cross.


She is foremost stubborn. Everyone around her knows this and is prepared for it's consequences. She isn't very empathetic, or at least doesn't think she is. She is naturally a good judge of character though, more than likely her work with cops has made her more observant. She doesn't want to admit she is hopeful, but she is. She deep down wants to believe and see the best in people, but is forced to face over and over again the worst that they can offer.

She questions daily what effect the violence she has had to do has on her. She believes that she is one of the monsters, but she doesn't want to stop doing it. She knows she is protecting people and doing good and she feels that what she gives up is worth it in the end. She doesn't want people to get too close, perhaps she fears abandonment but has never tried to face why she has this issue, but those who do win her devotion and she will do anything to protect them. She is painfully honest, and tact well she's not really acquainted with that which tends to get her in trouble.

Anita was very young when her mother died. All she remembers of her is the smell of her bath powders, her laugh, and her warmth.

Her maternal grandmother told her father that she was a Necromancer and that she was to be raised Christian since being raised in the Voodoo tradition would be too much temptation for her. Her father remarried and this has remained a sore point and driven a wedge between them. Her step-brother thinks she's cool, her step-mother keeps wondering when she will get married and questions how she can find anyone doing what she does. For Anita it isn't a choice. Her power manifests whether she wants it to or not and so she must use it, the better to keep it under control. She works for Animators Inc. and well needless to say she and the boss don't see eye to eye. Money makes him happy and he'll have his animators do just about anything to get it. Eventually the animators stage a mutiny to gain more control. But Bert still gets money so he's good. She helps solve preternatural cases with RIPT when she's not raising zombies. This work has given her many nightmares. And don't forget that she also kills vampires as a legal vampire executioner. This keeps her very busy.

Anita has several boyfriends though she's not happy about this she deals. Which for her means she doesn't ever deal and hopes maybe that will work. Jean-Claude and Richard are part of a triumvirate of power with her and the three of them occasionally have to deal with the Vampire Council not being too happy about this. Asher is Jean-Claude's one time lover, scared by holy water he hides half of his face, but Anita can see him as he used to be thanks to her connection with Jean-Claude. Nathaniel was one a stripper and came to Anita because she had to heal him one night and things just sort of built from there. He gives her someone who while not brainless is submissive so she doesn't need to worry about controlling him, she can let her guard down. She doesn't want to think about what this means, but she is forced to. Micah is her mate. You see she's got lots of were-blood in her system and one just happens to be leopard. She and Micah rule the local pard. Jason is a werewolf who works for Jean-Claude. He comes to her, as Micah does and well Nathaniel too in his way, through the arduer, essentionally she gains energy by feeding during sex. And there is yet another vampire in her life, as if it wasn't complicated enough already. Damien her vampire servant. Yes, you heard correctly. She accidentally raised him during the day and well he's been bound to her since.





She is wearing black jeans and a black t-shirt and has a silver cross necklace. In a small black purse she has some make-up..(she only has one tube of lipgloss left now, Andrej took one), a credit card, bank card and about $100 in cash, personal id as well as the id for the preternatural investation team, there is also a federal marshall's badge, and also extra ammunition for her gun. She is wearing a small gun, which she has made an attmept to hide, and has two pretty long knives..one in a thigh sheath and the other in a sheath around her forearm. (If she has a chance to grab it she has her zombie raising kit which includes a machette and includes her vampire kit....holy water, and silver bullets are the most important items.)
